Welcome to the North Carolina Local Users Group (NCLUG) website. The NCLUG hopes to bring together the many varied users of Bentley CADD products though out the Carolinas. If you are a user of MicroStation, GEOPAK, InRoads, AECOsim, PowerCivil or any of the other Bentley products please join the NCLUG and share your expertise and experience with your fellow Carolina users.

2018 Winter Conference December 5,2018
NCLUG is delighted to announce its Winter Bentley Conference! NCLUG, along with Bentley, has provided a great line up of lectures to choose from. Space is limited so be sure to sign up now! Conference attendees can earn 6 pdh credits for participating. Registration will start at 8:00 am, with classes starting at 8:30 and running until 4:30. Lunch will be provided. There will be some games and prizes too.
There will be 4 session – 2 hands on workshop and 2 lecture this year. Attached is an overview of the sessions to choose from. Please note that the NCDOT – Quick Start for ORD [Delta Training] (W11A) will be restricted to 2 people max from a firm since space will be limited.

Thanks to Bentley and hard work from the NCLUG Board, NCLUG is able to keep the cost down. When we say down, we mean way down.

A Toy for a Tot! In true Holiday spirit, NCLUG is offering these lectures for cost of bringing a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl which will be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

The NCLUG is now accepting award nominations for outstanding people in the CADD community for our award program. Each award’s criteria are outlined in the attachment or on the website. Winners will be selected by the NCLUG’s Executive Board and announced at the NCLUG Winter Conference Dec. 5, 2018.

The agenda includes 32 hands-on workshops, 57 presentations, 28 tech talks, and 1 keynote address. Attendees can choose from ten concurrent sessions that cover conceptual design for road, rail, and site as well as detailed design, reality modeling, survey, geotechnical, bridge, subsurface utilities, drainage, MicroStation, ProjectWise and more!

The 2018 DiscoverE North Carolina Future City Regional Finals took place in January at the McKimmon Center at NC State University in Raleigh, NC.
